Faculty of Political Science and Economics Organizes Reception Ceremony for Students of the 2026/2027 Academic Year
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nour El-Basrati, Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Political Science and Economics organized a reception ceremony to welcome its students.
The ceremony included a variety of activities, including welcoming new students by the Dean, Vice Deans, and Heads of Academic Departments. The new students were introduced to the importance of the Faculty and the significance of this academic stage, as well as the role of student role models in raising students’ awareness and introducing them to labor market requirements.
The ceremony also featured artistic performances, in addition to honoring the top-performing students of the 2025/2026 academic year.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nour El-Basrati, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Tahawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali Abu Aqreb, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Osama Mokhaimer, Head of the Political Science Department; and Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Bandary, Head of the Economics Department, in addition to faculty members, assistant staff, and administrative employees of the Faculty.
