Master Title
The Amendment of Article 76 of the constitution and Political Mobility in Egypt 2005". (Analyzing for Egyptian Presidential Elections)
Master Abstract
Opinions differed and are still on the steps of political and constitutional reform in Egypt. There are those who saw it as a formality that did not deepen in the content and did not meet a small part of the ambitions. Some saw it as a consecration of existing conditions, which is a retreat from the promises of the reform of the Rose. A third group was more moderate and optimistic. Reformism is a good start and other steps are more extensive in the way.
PHD Title
Political Elite and Political Reform in China from 1991- 2008".
PHD Abstract
China's top leadership, the ruling Communist Party, has followed a pattern that promotes economic reform first at the expense of political reform. These political reforms have been accompanied by a widening of the margin of political freedoms, the reform of the electoral system, the promotion of civil society, and the priority of political stability, and maintain the status quo as the only guarantee for China's internal reconstruction.
In this context emerged two points to consider:
The first view is that China's ruling Communist Party still has the same exclusionary policy of excluding other counter-elites in power and still controls the course of political life without allowing for real political reforms.
The second view is that China's ruling political elite, the ruling Communist Party, has become highly politically aware and has opened the way for the growth of the reformist movement within the ruling Communist Party itself and some of the opposing trends within it, Margin of freedoms available in Chinese society.
