Climate Changes Global Issue in: Green political Theory and Securitization Theory
Research Abstract
The issue of climate changes is considered to be one of the most important current global issues because it causes many threats at various political, economic, social levels. Effectively addressing this issue requires cooperation and coordination among parties of international Society. No country alone can face the issue of climate change as it is a cross-border issue and its effects are at the global level, In addition to its connection to the issue of fair sharing of burdens and costs to confront these losses and damages produced by climate changes between developed and developing Countries, that is why it is necessary to highlight on the position of the issue of climate change in theories of international relations. The study aimed to explain the vision of green political theory towards the issue of climate change, and discus the mechanisms of securitization of this issue using the main principles of two important schools in securitization theory were Copenhagen Security School and Paris Security School. The study also depended on a comparative approach to achieve its aims.
